Fiona Connolly was born and raised in Boston, MA. She started dancing at the age of 3 because her parents observed her love of music and dance. Fiona started dancing at Deborah Mason Performing Arts Center and joined the CYDP company in 2015. Some instructors she has are Ian Berg, Dianne Walker, Derick Grant, and Deborah Mason Dudley. In addition to tap, Fiona studies Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, and Contemporary. She has participated in the Beantown Tap Festival for two years and attends Mount Alvernia High School in Newton, MA. In 2017 she received the Sarah Mason Scholarship Award and in 2016 she received the Galluccio Scholarship Award.
